SYDNEY MEN CHARGED WITH CONSPIRACY

A fortnight’s inquiries by detectives resulted in the arrest of five men for an alleged business fraud involving £60,000. The firm with which the men were connected came into existence some months ago, trading ou a ninetydav bill system, buying huge quanutjes of merchandise from, warehouses and selling at ridiculously low prices tc retailers. The firm has now gone out of existence. The bills fell due at the beginning of December and, according to official statements, were not met. The five men have been charged with conspiracy.
