MAGISTRATE’S COURT

BY-LAW AND CIVIL CASES

Offenders against the by-laws were dealt with by Mr. T. B. McNeil, S.M, in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. John Paterson was fined £2 for speeding, and Frank Andesron, James F. Lilley, and Spencer Izett, £1 each for a like offence.

For travelling the wrong way in a oneway street William Withers was fined £l. Thomas Spain was fined £1 for having’ an obschred number plate. Ho was also fined 10/- for having no reflector. Edward R. Hawkey and Charles Barnett were fined £1 each for having no lights, an offence which cost Alfred Carmichael 10/-. Philip L. Daske was fined £1 for having no horn. William J.
