MANCHESTER UNITY
The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Sister Wallis’s Lodge was held recently, the N.G., Sister Julian, presiding over a good attendance. One candidate was initiated into the Lodge. Sick visitors report was received. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: N.G.. Sister G. Bedell: V.G., Sister Bell E.S., Sister Johns; warden, Sister Anderson; guardian, Sister Reynard; lecture m J s ‘ tress Sister A. Craddock; auditors. Sister Tobin and Barnell. Lodge honours were accorded visitors. It was decided that an invitation be sent the district officers to be present at the next meeting for the purpose of installing the new officers. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Kiibirnie Lodge M.U. was held last Tues* dav Bro. Wiltshire presiding over a good attendance. The following members were installed by Bro. Couper, D.D.G.M.. assisted bv Bro. Brown. P.G.: N.G., Bro. Russell P.G.: V.G., Bro. Ballinger; E.S.. Bro. Brass. Bro Wiltshire was recommended for the Past Noble Grands degree. Bro. Russell and Brass received trophies won in the recent card tournament. Cards and supper then brought the evening to a close.
