DEBT TO AMERICA
PAYMENTS BY BRITAIN (Rec. December 15, 11.55 p.m.) London, December 15. The Treasury announces the payment to the United States of 93,795,000 dollars, of which the sum of 27,000,000 dollars represents the repayment of principal, the balance being interest. The total payments since the funding of the British debt to America are now 1,124,000.000 dollars, of which the sum of 174,000.000 dollars represents repayment of principal. The amount outstanding is 4,426,000,000 dollars.
