The Prejnier, Mr. King, speaking at Ontario, declared that if the United States changed its tariff to injure Canada, then Canada would take the necessary steps to meet the situation. The Premier believed that Canada should try to trade with her own kith and kin as largely as possible. It was part of the Liberal policy to encourage trade within the Empire. The Minister of Trade and Commerce was doing all that was possible in this direction.
