TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.
Meteorological Office, Wellington, Thursday, December 5, 1929, 4 p.m. Though the cvclone mentioned yesterday has crossed the Dominion a series of secondary depressions have developed 111 roar of it, and it is likelv to be several days before a definite change occurs. Moderate to strong winds from between-north and West; backing occasionally to south-west in parts of the South Island. Seas rather rough to rough on the West Coast and in Cook and Toyeaux Straits. Moderate on the East Coast. Fresh to strong westerly winds and rather rough to rough seas in the Eastern Tasman Sya. Weather changeable and unsettled, with showers at times in most districts, but more especially in districts with a westerly aspect and the high country generally; moderate temperatures.
