SHOT AT BY ARAB
ATTORNEY-GENERAL OF PALESTINE Jerusalem, November 24. An Arab fired three shots, but did not seriously wound Mr. Bentwich, the Attorney-General, as he was leaving his office. Mr. Bentwich has received many anonymous threatening letters. 'Die assailant is employed in the Public Service. He admits that be was offered hundreds of pounds to shoot Bentwich.
