TRADE TREATY WITH ARGENTINE
DUTIES ON BRITISH GOODS REDUCED (Rec. November 17, 11.35 p.m.) Buenos Aires, November 17. The Government on Saturday announced a reduction of 50 per cent, in the duties on fabrics and artificial silk imported from Britain, in exchange for the removal of all duties on cereals, meat, and butter imported from the Argentine.
