A suggestion was made at the last meeting of the Southland Motor Association that motorists involved in tin accident should clear away any broken glass from the road. “I suppose each party should attend to its own glass,” a member suggested amidst laughter. Another member asked humorously what the position would be if every one concerned was killed. “Perhaps the executors of the estate could be called on for a fine for the resultant breach of the rule.” he said. The general opinion, however, was that the suggestion was a good one.
