Captains Costes and Belleconte were sighted on Monday flying over Novosibirsk in the direction of Irkutsk.

Costes and Belleconte left Le Bourget aerodrome last week in an attempt to beat the world’s long-distance flying record, and their fate is unknown. Their destination was Harbin.
