SYDNEY-PERTH AIR RACE

ORDER OF COMPETITORS Australian Press Association. Melbourne, October 1. The whole of the competitors in the air race to Perth reached Melbourne safely. C. Pratt, in a Moth, Is leading in the race. H. Miller’s DH9 and R. Bardsley’s Moth are second and third respectively. There were several minor mishaps on the flight to Melbourne, breakdowns occurring to three machines. Bertram Heath, in a DHSO, made the fastest flying time, but on handicap time is last, owing to his losing over an hour in starting from Sydney.
