OBITUARY

VETERAN FREEMASON Australian Press Association. Sydney, October 1. The death is announced of Mr. John Weatherlake, aged 88, who was regarded as the oldest Freemason in the State. He was also a' naval veteran, and was present when the British flag was hoisted at Fiji on its annexation fifty years ago and at the annexation ceremony of New Guinea.
