Favourable conditions ruled for the Epsom semi-final gallops at Randwick this morning. Mr. Knight watched Limerick work and later stated that he was satisfied .with his condition, and would give him a strong gallop on Thursday. He would then be able to decide on the horse’s future movements.

On a grass track Tidal defeated Limerick by half a length over a mile in .Imin. 43Jsec., the first half in 50see., six furlongs in Imin. ICsec. Limerick pulled up better, though slightly distressed. Tidal was somewhat cramped in front. Nightmarch led Kidaides by half a length over eight furlongs in Imin. 43 sec. Pomp and Pedestal ran four furlongs in 55sec. comfortably.

I’aqnito easily beat Bright Glow over eight furlongs in Imin. 44-Jsec. Perception did a similar distance in Imin. 43see., as did Royal Gold, who defeated Tarapunga. Stormy led Becalmed over five furlongs in Imin. 4see. Cruets defeated Winalot. by four lengths over ten furlongs in 2min. 8 sec.

Caradale covered seven furlongs in Imin. 29Jsec., and Loquacious ran seven furlongs in Imin. 27sec. Ceremony comfortably recorded 1 min. 49Jsec. for eight furlongs. On the tan Honour lad .laleux by three lengths at the eiid of three furlongs in 37Jsec. Oratrix covered eight furlongs iu 1 min. 43sec.

Gilt Edge ran seven furlongs in record time of Imin. 251 sec. Gesto led Magdaffi, over five furlongs in Imin. 2$ sec.
