Detectives ' have ascertained that Maisie Hutton and several men and women companions participated in a violent drinking orgy on Saturday night. At least two women as well as Hutton were drug addicts, and the remains of drugs were found in glass tumblers in the room. 1

Another woman attempted to poison herself, and the police are trying to locate her.

The police state there are indications of foul play. Hutton’s body and hands were covered with pin scratches, probably caused during a fight or during her death struggles. Hutton was recently married, but parted from her husband.
