COLLISION ON HUTT ROAD
MOTOR-CYCLISTS INJURED ALLEGATIONS AGAINST CAR DRIVER At 6.45 last night a collision occurred about one mile on the city side of Ngahauranga between a motorcar driven by Nathaniel John Reed and a motor-cycle ridden by Charles Edward Warr, aged 17, of 119 Northland Road, and W. Wilkinson, of Orangi-Kaupapa Road. Warr received a double fracture of the left leg and lacerated wounds on the left foot. Wilkinson suffered from shock and head Injuries. Both the injured men wentaken in «a railway bus to Lambton Statical, where they were transferred to the Free Ambulance and conveyed to the hospital. Warr was operated on later. Wilkinson, whose injuries were fairly slight, was discharged. As a result of their Investigations, the police arrested the driver of the car, who will be charged with driving while intoxicated.
