BLOOD TRANSFUSION

REMARKABLE FEAT. Australian Press Association. Vienna, June 24. A remarkable feat of blood transfusion saved a workman dying from loss of blood. At a critical moment a young woman was brought in dying as the result of a motor accident. The doctor listened till the heartbeat ceased and her blood was immediately pumped into the veins of the workman, who was revitalised in ten minutes. This is believed to be .the first case of the kind in medical history.
