MOTOR-CYCLIST SERIOUSLY INJURED.

Joseph Spicer, aged 18, it son Of Mr. W. Spicer, of Anderson's Line, met with a serious accident yesterday afternoon. lie was riding a motor-cycle and attempted to pass two young horses, which were being led to a paddock. One lashed out with its hoof and struck Spicer on the jaw. He was picked up unconscious and taken to his home. Dr. Morton was called. An examination showed that the boy’s jaw had been fractured and that he was suffering from concussion and head injuries. He was admitted to the Masterton Hospital. The latest report is that the sufferer has regained consciousness. .
