We are glad to report the election of two more women on county councils (says the “Women’s Leader”). The Hon. Mrs. De Grey has been returned for the Watton Division of the Norfolk Council, making the third woman of that council. In Lincolnshire, Mrs. Mawer, who ,is a member of the Boston Board of Guardians, has just been elected to the Holland Council by a majority of 150. The Kesteven and Lindsey Councils include one woman among their members. A present vacancy on the Crewe County Borough Council is being contested by a Liberal and Socialist woman.
