CORINTHIC ARRIVES FRIDAY. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Comjuiny have received a further radio message from their liner Corinthic reporting that the vessel had been delayed by bad weather, and would now not arrive at Wellington until Friday morning from London and Southampton.

SAILERS NOT WANTED. ■ Tho American six-masted barque Dorothy H. Sterling was offered at auction by the New South Wales Government recently, but there was no bid. The vessel was seized by the Sydney Harbour Board, and a reserve of £570, representing berthing and other dues and the charges of auction, was placed upon it. When the vessel arrived at Port Adelaide the crew could not get their wages. No harbour dues could be paid, and the vessel was seized.

MAKURA, FROM ’FRISCO. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura arrived in the stream at Wellington at 6 o’clock yesterday morning from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. ra " tlque was granted, and the ship berthed at No. 2 (outer tee) Queen’s Wharf to land passengers, cargo, and mails. The Makura left San Francisco on May la an 4 aati moderate winds and calm seas until arrival at Papeete early on May 25. The voyage was resumed in the evening, and the ship arrived at Rarotonga on May -7. A large cargo of fruit was shipped, and the vessel sailed again at 8.30 p.m. for Wellington. The Makura encountered rough seas- and strong head winds during the greater part of the last stage of her. voyage. At Wellington the Makura will land 1700 tons of general cargo from San I? rancisco and 10,788 eases of fruit from Rarotonga. The vessel is to leave AV ellington at 6 o’clock to-morrow evening for Sydney.

MAUNGANUI FROM SYDNEY. Bound from Sydney to Wellington, the Union liner Maunganui has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. She will berth about 9 o’clock at No. 16 Queen s Wharf. The Maunganui is timed to leave again at 3 p.m. on Thursday on her return trip to Sydney.

THE WAITEMATA. The Union Company report that the Avaltemata was to have left Los Angeles yes* terday with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on June 28.

MISCELLANEOUS The Cygnet is due here to-morrow from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, and will return on Thursday tO'the same ports. The Titoki, from Wanganui, is due here to-morrow, and will leave later the same day for Westport and. Greymouth. The Breeze, from southern ports, is due here on Thursday, and will go on to WangFroin Dunedin; Via ports, the Corinna Is due here on Thursday, and will go on to Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kahika is to leave Gisborne to-mor-row for Wellington and Dunedin. The Kaimai will leave Greymouth tomorrow for Miramar and Wellington. The Progress is due here on Saturday from southern ports, and will go on to New Plymouth and Port Waikato. The Kaimanawa will leave Dunedin today, via ports, for Wellington and Auckland. ~ , .
