CONCLUDING AWARDS Palmerston North, June 1. The fourth annual dog trials of the Feilding and District Collie Club were concluded yesterday. Following are the awards in Class 3:—K. J. Buchanan’S Spot (Beaconsfield),-32, 5. . SPECIAL AWARDS. Special awards were made as follow: — Trophy for the loqal,..maiden competitor and maiden dog scoring mdst points-in class HI, but not less than thirty points, to be won outright: J. P. Buchanan (Feilding). Silver Challenge Rose Bowl, for the local dbg scoring most -points in, classes I and II: A. Burgess’s (Rongotea) Hemp. Silver Challenge Cup, for the local maiden dog scoring most points In classes I nnd II: E. Cousins’s (Colyton) Yet..„ Trophy,, valued at £3 35., for tLe.maidbn dog scoring most points in classes I and II: E. Cousins’s Yet. Trophy for the local drover scoring most points-: K. Trophy for best type of working dog, and trophy for runner-up: R. W. Holiis’s Tipperary, 1; J. Goodwin's Nell, 2. Trophy for the dog scoring most points in classes I, 11, and III: J. . Lang’s (Dannevlrke) Don. Medal for maiden competitor scoring most points at the trial: K. Sowerby (Feilding). Trophy for the runner-up in class I: W. Thom (Weber). Trophy for the local dog scoring most points in class II at the yard: K. Sowerby's Tweed. Trophy for the local drover scoring most points in class I: K.. Sowerby. Trophy, valued at £1 Is., for the local drover scoring most points in class II: K. Sowerby. Trophy for-the dog scoring, most points for command in class III: C. McErlane’s (Ranfurly) Romp. Trophy for the best working slut in classes I and II: H. Buckley's (Huntervllle) Fay. Trophy valued at £1 Is. for the dog scoring most points in class 11, competing for the first time In Feilding trials: W. Thom's Speed. Trophy for the local drover scoring most points In class III: K. Sowerby. Trophy, valued 165., for the competitor gaining fifth place class III: J. P. Buchanan. Trophy for dog scoring most points at ring in class I: A. Burgess's (Rongotea) Speed. Torch, for the youngest competitor at the trials: K, Sowerby. Trophy for the local dog scoring most points in heading class I: 11. N. McGuinness's Beaut. Trophy for the runner-up In class I!: W.
