PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mr. L. A. Robinson, of Patea, who is a member of the Royal Naval Reserve, is leaving New Zealand shortly on a cruise to Australian waters, as a . member of the wireless operating staff of H.M.S. Diomede. Mrs. and Miss Robinson will stay in Auckland during Mr. Robinson’s absence. Mr., Kilby, of the Bank of Australasia, Wanganui, goes to New Plymouth shortly on temporary transfer. Mr. K. Rathbone, of Wanganui, is at present with a survey party in the Rockies (America) enjoying fishing and bear hunting in spare time. The annual report of the Marton Debating Society states that the society has suffered a severe loss in the person of Mr. A. C. Barrington, who left Marton towards the end of last year to take up residence in Wellington. Mr. .Barrington was one of the most enthusiastic members the society had and was identified with the society from its inception. WINTER FURS NOW.
