SEATOUN HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. The first annual meeting of the Seatoun Home and School Association was held recently, and although the weather was inclement, a fair number of members were present. The president (Mr. O. J. Mullins) presided. . A report of the association’s activities since its inception, also the balance-sheer, were adopted. Th* following were elected as the executive for the ensuing year:—President. Mr 11. Oldfield; vice-presidents. Mrs. E. Lancaster and Mr. I’. C. Luxford; secretary, Mr. A. G. Wiltshire: committee. Messrs. L. E. Lewis, J. For.bes. Gadd and Tait. Mesdames M. F. Keir, Gow Small. Chiidley. Pinhey. Ingram, and Moore; hon. auditor, Mr. W. O. Bock. A strong protest was made by Mr. Gadd. of Worser Bay, against the action of the Education Board in refusing admission to the Seatoun School of children residing on the sea front at Worser Bay. although they wore until recently attending the school. The meeting assur. ed Mr. Gadd of its sympathy and cooperation in any action taken, and it was decided to- urge the school committee to take every possible measure to remedy the position.
