PRINCE HENRY
ARRIVAL AT HONG-KONG TRIUMPHANT TOUR OF CITY . (United Service.) Hong-Kong, April 25. British warships thundered a salute as Prince Henry stepped ashore at Hong-Kong this morning to be received by the Governor. The streets were lined with soldiers and sailors, the Prince making a triumphant tour of the city cm route to the City Hall, where addresses of welcome were presented. A feature of the proceedings was a magnificent four-fold Chinese screen, exquisitely carved and embroidered, six feet high, given by the Chinese community, whose addresses. accompanying it was most quaint. Following is an extract: “People old and your.g make manifest their delight. They run hither and thither, eager with joy at seeing your Royal person. From the depths of our hearts we pay a tribute, of loyalty to His Majesty the King. The Prince will stay three days, and then proceeds to Japan on H.M.S. Suffolk.
