Australian Press Association. (Rec. April 21, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, April 20. A report from Niagara Falls states that an investigation into the death of William Strachan, of the Young Australians, is being carried out by Dr. W. J. Bell, Deputy Minister of Health, who went there from Toronto in response to urgings by the local health officers to determine what had caused the lad’s sudden death, which was due to streptococcus germ, a form of blood poisoning. Strachan’s death compared somewhat with the deaths of five persons recently stricken at Elfrid township, near London, Ontario. It is believed the .latter were victims of the same rare germ. William Kremmer, Strachan's companion, has been placed in quarantine. Officials in charge of the group said all were in good health save John West, who was sent to hospital with throat trouble. The group lias planned to continue the tour to-morrow. Strachan’s body was immediately buried, on the orders of the Health Department.
