TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

Meteorological Ofiicc, Wellington, April 21, 1929, 4 p.m. Pressure is still very low east of the Dominion, the cyclone now being centred east of the Chatham Islands. An anti-cyclone over the Tasman Sea has been losing intensity. Moderate to strong south-westerly winds, reaching gale force at places on the East Coast, but decreasing later, veering to westerly in the south. Seas- rough generally in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong south-westerly Winds in the Eastern Tasman Sea, veering to westerlies shortly in the central and southern portions. Seas Weather still cold £nd changeable with isolated showers, but improving. Some inland frosts in the South Island to-night.
