NEWFOUNDLAND LOOKS FOR EXPANSION - Australian Press .Assn. —United Service. St. John’s (Newfoundland), April 18. Arrangements for the expansiou of trade with the Empire were forecast in a Speech from the Throne on Thursday in the Newfoundland Parliament. It was announced that a treaty agreement was under negotiation with Ottawa. The appointment of a Trade Commissioner in London instead of a High Commissioner was included in the forecast. >
