COMPETITIONS SOCIETY
FESTIVAL AT MASTERTON. Dominion Special Service. Masterton, April 18. At a meeting of the executive of the Masterton Competitions Society, reports were received indicating that good entries were being received for the forthcoming festival. Two new classes had been added, which would prove attractive to audiences, those of steel guitar and plectra pizzicato trio, each own selection. There were indications of general interest in the competitions in the Wairarapa. The usual railway excursion fares would be made available to competitors from any part of the North Island.
