MISS COPPLESTONE'S HARBOUR SWIM.

The management of the Eastbourne ferry and bus services draw attention to special attractions for Sunday, March 31. Miss Lily Coppiestone, of Ashburton, will attempt the harbour swim, leaving the Eastbourne Ferry Wharf, Wellington, about 10.30 a.m., and expects to arrive at Eastbourne early in the after-

noon. She will be accompanied M various stages of the journey by several wellknown champion lady swimmers, including Miss Kathleen Miller. Arrangements have been made for a well-provisioned boat to accompany the swimmers on the journey. . A very attractive time-table has been drawn up for both the ferry and bus service for the Easter holidays, so that visitors and residents can avail themselves of the opportunity of a trin to this favourite seaside resort. Those who so desire may take advantage of the round trip—bus out and boat home, lhe grass and asphalt tennis courts are available for tennis enthusiasts. A special bus service has been arranged for Petone residents during Easier week.
