PROPOSALS FOR CLOSER UNION Australian Press Association. (Rec. March 7. 7.20 p.m.) London, March 7. The “Daily Telegraph’s” political correspondent states that Cabinet has given general approval of the Hilton Young Commission’s proposals for the closer union of dependencies ,in Eastern and Central Africa. It Is.proposed to appoint a 'High Commissioner to ’ work out the arrangements for modify-: | ing the constitution, of Kenya.
