MINISTER OF EDUCATION ON TOUR

VISITS HUNTERVILLE AND FEILDING. Dominion Special Service. Marton, March 1. The Minister of Education, Hou. H. Atmore, visited Hunterville this morning along with the member for the district, Hon, J. G. Cobbe. The school was visited and the Minister agreed that a new building was urgently required. He also inspected an adjoining section which the Education Board suggest should be purchased as a site for the new school, and decided to give the question favourablo consideration. The party received a welcome by the chairman of the Town Board, Mr, W. H. Bowlck, and were entertained. Later they, left for Feilding, Dominion Special Service,. Feilding, March 1. The Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, paid an official visit to Feilding today. He was accompanied by the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Industries and Commerce. Mr. Atmore called at the primary schools and the-Agricultural High School. He viewed,the High School farm,and stud stock, and afterwards met the Board of Managers. Mr. H. Tolley (chairman) placed before the Minister requests for more class room at the school and propounded a scholarship scheme for boys of New Zealand wishing to take up agriculture who might be sent to this school. To-night the Minister attended a civic dinner to the Hon. J. G. Cobbe.
