A three-years’ agreement between the Anglo-American Oil Combine and Russian Oil Products has been signed. The agreement gives Russian oil an equal share on the British market with other companies. Newspapers state that the agreement does not compensate the owners of Russian oilfields which the Soviet confiscated. PRICE INCREASED (“Times” Cables.) (Rec. March 1, 10.30 p.m.) London, February 28. Reports that negotiations between Russian and other petrol companies were approaching finality were quickly followed to-night by an official announcement that the price of all petrol, inclu .ing Russian, was being raised 2Jd. p- gallon forthwith.
