Cabled news has been received by, the Huddart Parker Company that the Ulimaroa left Sydney at noon yesterday for Wellington. She is due here on Tuesday morning. THE KAIAPOI. The Union Company report that the Kaiapoi is to leave Adelaide on Wednesday for Edithburg, Wallaroo and Melbourne to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Tara'kohe, Wellnlgton and Auckland. KUROW LEAVES NEWCASTLE. Cabled newa has been received by the Union Company that the Kurow left Newcastle at 6 p.m. on Thursday for Napier, Miramar, Picton and Nelson. She is due at Napier next Thursday. NEW MOTORSHIP BRITANNIC. The new 27,000-ton motorship which Messrs. Harland and Wolff are building at Belfast for the White Star Line's Liverpool-New York service is to be named Britannic. She will be the third ship of this famous fleet to bear the name. The first was built in 1874, and was a single screw steamer of 5004 tons. The second was a ship of 48,158 tons, launched at Belfast early in 1914, and while serving as a hospital ship in the Mediterranean in 1916 was mined. TREWORLAS IN PORT.

The A. and A. Line chartered steamer Treworlas arrived at Wellington at 4 p.m. yesterday from New York via. Auckland, and berthed at No. 16, Jervois Quay, to put out part cargo. The vessel will leave on Tuesday for Lyttelton and Dunedin.

CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. Messrs. Burns, Philp and Company report that the Golden Cloud was to leave Los Angeles yesterday with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. The Golden Cross will sail from Los Angeles on April 1 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Nelson. The Golden State is to leave Los Angeles on May 1 for Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Timaru.

CARGO FROM TEXAS. The steamer Baron Fairlie was to leave Port Arthur, Texas, about February 20 with a full cargo of case oil and other De’roleum products for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Bunbury and Fremantle. No advice has been received of the vessel’s departure. • The Ellerman-Bucknall steamer City of Leicester has been chartered to load sulphur at Galveston, Texas, for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Geelong. She is to leave Galveston on March 10. KIO ORA SAILS TUESDAY. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company s steamer Kia Ora arrived at Wellington at 1135 a.m. yesterday from Timaru, and berthed at the Pipitea Wharf to fill up. She is timed to sail from here at daybreak on Tuesday for Southampton and London, via Panama.

THE PORT MELBOURNE. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Melbourne will not leave Napier until midday to-day for Wellington, where she is due to-morrow morning to continue loadin£. The vessel is to clear Wellington on Wednesday for Auckland and will saii from the latter port on March 11 for Lon don, via Panama.

THE ZEALANDIC REPORTS. A wireless message was received Jesterdav by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company from the Zealandic, en route from Falmouth, stating that site will arrive at Bluff on Tuesday morning. The vessel will commence loading at Bluff for London Captain J. H. Gaskell retains command of the Zealandic.

THE PORT PIRIE. The C and D. Line steamer Port Plrie arrived at Lyttelton at 10.30 a.m. yesterday from Picton to continue loading, blie will leave Lyttelton on Monday night for Wellington, Is due here on Tuesdaj' morning and will sail on Wednesday for Auckland The vessel is to get qway from Auckland on March 13 for London, via Panama.

REMUERA LEAVES COLON. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company that their liner Remuera left ColoAlast Wednesday for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from here on February 6.

GOLDEN BEAR DUE TUESDAY. Messrs. Burns, Philp, and Co. advise that the Golden Bear, which Is discharging cargo from Pacific Coast ports at Auckland, will leave there to-day for Wellington. Line advise that the Port Fremantle will complete discharge of her London cargo at Napier to-day, and will leave this afternoon for Auckland to commence loading. She is to load also at New Plymouth, Wanganui roadstead, Napier, and Wellington, In the order named. The vessel is due at Wellington on March 18, and will sail from here on March 23 for London, via Panama. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Conqueror will not leave Bluff until Monday for Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here on Wednesday to load for New York, Boston, and Montreal, and will sail on Thursday for Auckland. The vessel is now timed to sail finally from Auckland on March 12. MIDDLESEX AT AUCKLAND. The Federal steamer Middlesex arrived at Auckland early on Thurscday morning with a cargo of general merchandise from Newport, Avonniouth, and Liverpool. She camo via Curacao and Panama, and had good weather throughout with the exception of a short spell of boisterous conditions on the way to Curacao. She brought a quantity of parcel mail, seven Angora rabbits and a Pekingese dog for delivery at Wellington, and a retriever dog for Lyttelton. Captain 11. J. Wilde is in charge of the vessel, and he has the following officers:—Chief, Mr. H. Neagle; second, Mr. G. A. Shepherd; third. Mr. D. J. Murray; fourth, Mr. R. H. Laurenson; wireless operator, Mr. 11. Kennedy; chief engineer, Mr. W. G. Mac Ewan; second engineer, Mr. G. W. Cairnes; third engineer, Mr. A. C. Munro; fourth engineer, Mr. 11. 8. Maoro; chief steward, Mr. W. Collier. It is hoped to dispatch the Middlesex on Monday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to discharge the remainder of her cargo. THE MATAROA REPORTS. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company received a wireless message yesterday from the Mataroa, en route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel will arrive at Auckland on Tuesday morning. She is due at Wellington a week later. Captain W. R. Kershaw Is still in command. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. The Kairanga has been recommissioned at Port Chalmers with the following engineers :—Chief, Sir. E. W. Mackley; second, Mr. A. Crumbley; third, Mr. A. G. Weld. Mr. J. E. Hamer has joined the Kaikorai as chief engineer after holiday leave. Mr. C. C. Cleary has joined the Waipiata as second engineer in place of Mr. D. McMurran,. who has transferred to the Kaltuna. Mr. V. Boivin has joined the Maori as third engineer after being ashore on extended leave. The Waitemata, due at Wellington on Monday from Pacific Coast ports, is under command of Captain J. F. Jaunay, and be has with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr. G. W. Godfrey; -second, Mr. W. A. McGarry; third, Mr. H. Abernethey; chief engineer, Mr. F. Melville; second, Mr. J. The Progress is due here on Thursday from southern ports and will go on to New Plymouth and Port Waikato. , The Kaitoa is due here on Tuesday from Wanganui and will leave again later the same day for Westport and Greymouth. The Calm and the Gale will both leave Wellington on Monday for Wanganui. They nre duo back on Wednesday and will go on to southern ports. The Corinna is now due here to-morrow from New Plymouth and will leave on Monday for Dunedin, where she will load northwards for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kaikorai will leave here on Tuesday for Lyttelton and Auckland. The Kalmal will leave here on Monday for Greymouth to load for Wellington. The Kaltangata is due at Greymouth tomorrow to load for Wellington. The Wlngatui will leave Auckland on Tuesday for Wellington and southern ports. The Waikouaiti is to leave Sydney on Tuesday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Timaru. The Waipiata is due here on Tuesday from southern ports and will go on to Auckland. Hho Mamilius left Port Chalmers last night for Lyttelton to complete loading for London and West Coast of Great Britain. The Pakelia was due at Napier last night from the Wanganui roadstead for further loading. She will leave on -Monday for Auckland. Rain delayed the liner lonic at Port Chalmers yesterday. She will leave there on Monday for Timaru.

The Hnrunui sailed from Lyttelton at 11 p.m. on .Thursday for London, via Panama and Newport News.
