A close and interesting match was played at Kelburn yesterday between ‘‘The League of Notions” (Fullers) Company and “N.Z. Truth,” the former winning by 15 runs. “Truth” batted first and compiled 205 (W. R. King 106, J. Hennessey) 12, D. Hood 15, F. Cooze not out 28). The mummers replied with 220 (C. Hayman 103, T. Coltman 49, W, Monkhouse 26, F. Paulasto 13). Coltman, three for 29, and Hayman, two for 6"' bowled well for the winners, while Hennessey, three for 41, was “Truth’s" most successful trundler.
