Bush fires helped by a high wind, were burning at several places, near Nelson on Sunday afternoon and night. The Bryant mill, in the Tinline Valley, was threatened yesterday afternoon, and about 6 o’clock Baigent’s mill, at the foot of the Rai Hill, was in imminent danger. An extensive fire has also been burning over the Bay.—Special Service
