The construction of a new concrete light buoy at Point Jerningham was advanced a further stage yesterday, when the 20-ton concrete top was placed in position. Photograph shows the “top” being lowered into position yesterday by the Harbour Board’s floating crane Hikitea. —Robson, and Boyer, photo.
