OVERLOADING SHIPS
BOARD OF TRADE AND OWNERS TO CONFER (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, -February 12. The president of the Board of Trade stated in the House of Commons that the r«ply from the Shipowners’ Association to the memoranda on the overloadirg of ships addressed to them by the beard showed a considerable measure cf agreement with the board's suggestions and promised active cooperation and assistance. Arrangements would be grade as soon as possible for discussing the matter with representatives of the association.
