TO BE X-RAYED. R. J. Webster, the Auckland swimmer who made such a plucky attempt to swim across the harbour from the ferry wharf to Day’s Bay on Sunday, is now in the Wellington Hospital. It is understood that he is to undergo an X-ray examination in the hope that it may be possible to avoid an operation.
