UNITED STATES AND IRAQ
NEGOTIATIONS FOR THREEPARTY CONVENTION (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, February 11. Mr. Godfrey Locker-Lampson, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, stated in the House of Commons that negotiations have for some time been proceeding between the United States and Great Britain and Iraq for the conelusion of a Convention similar to the Anglo-American Convention regarding Palestine, to regularise the relations between the United States and Iraq and the status of United States citizens in that country. It is hoped that these negotiations may lead to the signature of the proposed Convention at an early, date.
