ANNUAL MEETING.
Palmerston North, February 12.
Tim annual meeting of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce was held today. tlie president, Mr. M. A. Eliott, bej“g in the chair. Tlie annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, the chairman being complimented by the seconder of his motion of adoption of tlie report and others, on what they termed “one of the<.most extensive and useful reports presented for years.” Messrs. F. S. Goldingham and. R. A. Fuller were elected to the council.
The balance-sheet showed an increase of 16s. 6d. carried forward over* tlie amount brought forward on the previous balance-sheet.
