CONTRACTORS WITHDRAW TENDER.

Dominion Special Service. Hnntvrvltle. January SO. At a rpcclfll meeting of Himtervllle Town Board a letter was read from the contractors for the erection of the new town hall, Messrs. McChesney nnd Oldfield. withdrawing their tender owing to "extras" required to work in hand preventing the commencement of the ball on contract, time.

The board went into committee to consider the question further. On resumins in open council It was decided to up. prohcb Messrs. Burne and Neilson, FetidIns. the next lowest tenderers, and Mr. Gregory was appointed to Interview- them. Subsequently Messrs. Burnt- and Neilsen, agreed to resubmit their tender. The. price was Xi-1100.
