The motor ship Nieoline Maersk, bound east from Melbourne to the United Kingdom, passed the Wellington Heads at 1 p.m. yesterday. MAUNGANUI FROM SYDNEY. After an uneventful run across the Tasman, the Union Company's Maunganui arrived in the stream at Wellington nt 9 a.m. yesterday, and berthed at No. 1 north Oueen's wharf shortly after 10 o'clock. Fine weather was experienced after leaving Svdney, but on Sunday the sky became ‘overcast and heavy rain fell. Later a hfeavy fog delayed the vessel’s arrival at Wellington for about three hours. The Maunganui will leave, again on her return trip to Sydney at 3 pan. on Friday. WAIOTAPU LEAVES NEWCASTLE. The Union Company has received cabled advice that the Waiotapu, from Calcutta, Penang and Singapore, .left Newcastle at midnight on Monday for Lyttelton. The vessel is due at Lyttelton on Sunday, and will later proceed to Timaru, Dunedin. Bluff, Wellington and Auckland, to complete discharge. PORT ADELAIDE GROUNDED. Advice received at Sydney states that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Adelaide, loaded with wool and general cargo from Australia, grounded at Antwerp. No serious damage resulted, and the vessel was refloated with assistance.

PLUMB I,EAVES SAN FRANCISCO. The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker, Plume, is reported to have left San Francisco last Friday, with a full cargo of bulk oil for New Zealand. She Is due irt Auckland on February 8. RUAPEHU'S MOVEMENTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the liner Ruapehu will leave Now Plymouth to-day to load at Nelson, Auckland, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here on January 29 and will sail finally from this port on January 31, for Southampton and Loudon, via Panama. CARGO FOR ENGLAND. Advlee from Sydney states that the steamer Hurunui, which Is unloading cargo from New York In Australia, is expected to reach Adelaide from bourne on Friday. She is to leave on Saturday for Port Pirie, and come thence to New Zealand for homeward loading. SAILINGS FROM NEW YORK. Mr, W. Wallis, agent for the A and A. Line, advises that the following additional steamers have been fixed to leave New York with cargo for discharge at New Zealand ports:—The Citv of Norwich, leaving New York on January !•<. to be followed by the Koolung on February 8. TREKIEVE REPORTS. The A. and A. Line steamer Trekieye has reported by wireless Unit she .will arrive al Auckland this morning from New York. COPTIC’S LOADING. Advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Line that the motor ship Coptic, which left London on Januarj’ 8 for Australia, will subsequently load in New Zealand about the middle of March for England. She was in New Zealand last September on her maiden voyage. TAINUI LEAVES COLON. Cabled news has been received, by the Shaw, Savill Company that their liner Tainui left Colon on Saturday afternoon. The vessel sailed from Lyttelton on December 22 for Southampton and London, via Panama. QUEEN OLGA FROM JAVA. The steamer Queen Olga, 424'2 tons, has been chartered to load sugar at Java for Auckland. She is expected to leave Tjilatjap for Auckland shortly. CARGO FROM SOUTH AFRICA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the Raranga, which is due at Cape Town on February 9 from Londou, will offer shippers an opportunity of consigning cargo from Cape Town direct to Auckland. The Raranga will leave Londou on January 19 for Cape Town and Australian ports. After discliarge in Australia the vessel will sail for Auckland, where she is due about March 22. ROTORUA REPORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua reports by wireless that favourable weather conditions have been met with since leaving port and that all is well on board. Due here to-night from Westport, the Komata will return on Saturday to the same port to load again for Wellington. Tlie Kartigi is to leave Greymouth on Friday for Wellington. The Katoa will leave Bluff to-day via ports for Wellington and Auckland. The Corinna is to leave Dunedin to-mor-row via ports for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth.

The Kahika will leave Dunedin to-day via ports for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne.

Due here to-morrow from southern ports, the Gale will go on to Picton and Wanganui.

The Breeze is to leave Dunedin to-day via ports for Wellington and Wanganui, and is due here on Saturday.

The Titoki is due here on Sunday from Lyttelton, and will leave on Alonday for Westport and Greymouth. Due here on Friday from southern ports, the Progress will go on to New Plymouth and Port Waikato.
