JOURNEY BY AEROPLANE
DIFFICULTY IN LANDING. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Napier, January 14. Captain George Bolt and Captain Steadman, of Wellington, arrived at Napier on Saturday in an Avio Avian aeroplane after a trip of two and a half hours from Wellington. On Friday they flew from Christchurch to Wellington in three and three-quarter hours in a howling gale. The weather was so bad that the airmen feared that they would not reach Wellington, and turned back, but made another attempt, and landed safely at Lyall Bay.
