CHURCH SERVICES
The Rev. J. R. Blanchard will preach at morning and evening services tomorrow at St. John's Presbyterian Church. The evening subject is “Christ's Call to Pate.” 1 - The Rev. David Calder, 8.A., will be the preacher, at morning and evening services at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, The Terrace. The subjects will be “That They All May be One’’ and “Old Shrines Revisited.” Mr. Calder is general secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society of New Zealand. At the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Taranaki Street, to-morrow, the pulpit in the morning will be occupied by the Rev. P. Raine, and in the evening by Mr. A. E. Waite. The quarterly church meeting will be held on Monday night. The Rev. Oscar Allwright, of Gisborne, who recently arrived from England, will be the preacher at the Vivian Street Baptist Church to-morrow morning and evening. Evelyn White!!, applied psychologist, will lecture on “What is God?" at the Dominion Farmers’ Institute at 8.15 p.m. Admission is free, but a collection will be made. , At the services of the Sailors’ Friend Society the preacher will be the misnioner. Mr. James Moore. In the morning bis subject will be "Companionship,” and in the evening “When the Supply Ceased.” There will be a.special soloist and a song service at 8 30, led by the orchestra. The address at the Cliristadelphian meeting at Victoria Hall. Adelaide Road, will be on Ihe subject of "Christ's Second Coming.” The Sunday school meets at 2.45 p.m. . n There will be Communion at 11 a.m. and Gospel service at 7 p.m. at the Pentecostal Mission, Vivian Street, where the services will be taken by Mr. R. Young. The Holv Eucharist will be celebrated nt the Church of-St. Alban. 19 Marian Street, at 11 a.m., and Vespers and Solemn Benediction at 7 p.m.
