CHANNEL TUNNEL
UNDERTAKING FAVOURED BY ENGLISH ' PAPERS Australian Press Association. London, January 9. A number of newspapers, including the “Daily Express” and the “Financial News,” are campaigning iu favour of the Channel tunnel scheme. They argue that there is no longer any military objections, whereas, besides the economic advantages, the scheme would provide work for the unemployed, especially miners.
