REGISTRATIONS INCREASE On Monday there were 202 unemployed registered with the Labour Department in Wellington,, of whom 65 had dependants. The number registered the previous Monday was 161. ' . ’ ' It is stated in explanation of the increase that it is due to a rush of men, . who apparently obtained temporary employment with the approach of the holiday season and thus allowed their applications to lapse. Now they are in need of work again they have once more registered.
