The death is reported by an Australian Press Association-United Service message from London of Mr. John Lee. who was Controller of the Central Telegraph Office from 1919 to 1927. Mr. Lee was also the author jf several works dealing with technical, social, and industrial subjects. A Press Association message from Grevmouth states that a child of eight months, a son of Mr. J. P. Williams, of Greymouth, died in the hospital at 3 p.m. yesterday from scalds. The accident "was the result of the child grasping a teapot from the table and spilling the hot contents upon himself the previous evening at 6 o'clock at the parents’ residence.
