THE KLOTZ CASE
COMPLAINT WITHDRAWN (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. December 28, 11.45 p.m.) Paris, December 28. The firm which set the law in motion against M. Klotz in respect of dishonoured cheques for payment for a motor-car has sent a letter to his counsel regretting they had not foreseen that pressure wotdd involve legal consequences and cause a public scandal and injuring the man who had been one of France’s plenipotentiaries in the hour of peace. The letter concludes with a formal withdrawal of the complaint.
