SMASH AT LEVEL CROSSING MOTORIST SEVERELY INJURED On Saturday afternoon Mr. J. A. Grimwood, of 32 I’harazyn Street, Lower Hutt, was driving his ear over the second railway crossing north of the Lower Hutt Station when his engine stalled. Eteveneaux, the passenger on the cycle, received a dislocated left shoulder and abrasions, and also suffered from concussion. Both the injured people were attended to by the Free Ambulance and were removed to the hospital. While working on the waterfront on Saturday afternoon, '.7. Cunningham, who resides at G 1 Hopper Street, was struck by a bar of iron which fell from a sling. He sustained abrasion to both legs. After being attended to by a doctor he was taken to his home by the Free Ambulance.
