December 21, An inmate of the Wnikeria Borst.il Institution, John Lawrence Cosgro-e, drove a pitchfork through his foot eig it days ago. and was admitted to the W; 1kato Hospital two days ago. with tetr.ius symptoms. No tetanus vts found, r’lt pneumonia developed, ami diphtheria v -s evident. Tile patient collapsed sudden y. and died. At an inquest, a verdict of death from natural causes was return 1. The Coroner said that every care hail bt n taken bv the institute authorities for 1 le welfare of the patient after his accidei.t.
