CONFUCIUS’S HANDWRITING
Two lines of handwriting in Chinese characters, written by Confucius 2470 years ago, were displayed at Caxton Hall, ■Westminster, recently, at a meeting held by the Fellowship of Faiths. Only twelve specimens of the handwriting of Confucius are in existence (says the London "Daily Telegraph"!. The two lines sho.wn at the meeting are carefully preserved in a special book which was brought to London by Dr. Chen Hua n-Chang, the Chinese philosopher and leader of the Confucian movement, in China.
Dr. Huan-Chang stated that Confucius anticipated modern disarmament conferences by 2500 years. As long ago as 546 U.C., China held a conference for disarmament among the various States of China.
